Description

We are a large, diverse outer London Borough with inner London challenges and big ambitions. With one of London’s largest regeneration projects in Meridian Water, a substantial estate renewal and home-building programme, the introduction of 40km of segregated cycle ways and a £1.5b property estate review, so much is happening in Enfield. We are looking for ambitious and dynamic individuals who can strengthen our placemaking approach to deliver the sustainable neighbourhoods, economic growth and infrastructure our residents need.

You will be forming a team and driving our approach to build the local economy and create a thriving place, in this new post. You will drive our Economic Development Strategy, shape our Industrial Strategy and deliver our Town Centre Action Plans. You will help raise the profile of Enfield as an inward investment destination as we grow our reputation as a place to do business. To succeed, you will bring experience of forging strategic partnerships, strong political acumen and an understanding of business.
